Programmable Delivery Drone technology

Programmable

Designed as a last resort in the delivery hierarchy - these drones will be likely to be costly to use. According to several reports, 30 minutes of your order being placed, your goods can sat on your lawn or driveway. With the drones having been shown to clock speeds of up to 60mph - and with no air traffic to dodge - drone deliveries are not only going to be more convenient, but often quicker than heading to the shops. It would be pretty cool not to have to face the delivery guy anymore, but have that little thing hovering in our laws - ladies and gentlemen - the future.

@Bill All signs point to one conclusion: for now, you should select the drone delivery option only if you can tolerate an awfully long wait.

@briley98754 Google?s company tested their drones in our area. Maybe, our location is hard to get through, that?s why they tested their drones on us.

@Nikola Do you want drones to land in a backyard with your dog?

Drone delivery could work in niche situations where safety isn?t a concern, we live in the suburbs man! The drone could get into anyone?s house, bro. Ain?t good.

@eelliotta what kind of niche?

@eelliotta 2 guys flying around in a heli see a kid get his model plane stuck in a tree. So they fly right above the treetop and pull it out of the tree to return it!

@sfrazierp Where did you see that?

  • Reply

@eelliotta They can avoid traffic congestion and traffic lights, and safely reduce the delivery time and distance by travelling directly to customers? homes.

I don?t like it when an aircraft does when it arrives at your home.

I recently got the U818 for around $100, and I'm really enjoying it. It can do some simple tricks, nothing crazy though, but the flight time is only around 7 minutes.
