Meal plan website

What's for breakfast, lunch or dinner? One of the toughest decisions we make daily. Let an app decide for you. This app will provide you a meal plan for as long as you want. Can be customized to consider local food ingredients and preference. The app plan your meals based on those recipes, building out shopping lists, and helping you cook the recipes you want to try. Once you're signed up, you can import recipes from the web by pasting in the URL for them, or you can enter them manually from your favorite cookbooks or that stash of index cards you have.

I always find it hard to decide what to eat. If this website is created, I'll make it my homepage. Let's extend the functionalities too. The website can also show you the recipe and the location where you can buy the ingredients. If you don't want to cook then it can tell you which restaurants have the dish or it can give you the delivery phone number.

Importing recipes from the web is easy enough, you just need the URL of the recipe you want to add.

@scoleci Pepperplate has text entry, so if you want to have leftovers for lunch the next day you can just type in Leftovers .

@scoleci Ziplist claims to sync with stores' sales and coupons, but the data isn't particularly reliable.

@rfreemanck I use MFP and really like it for tracking my weight, food/h20 intake and exercise

@jcunninghamcj I would never have found this app because its name is a bit odd.

I do all of my meal planning in a half-hour to an hour on a weekend for an entire week - and I have specific requirements I have to meet for my personal plan.

  • Reply

Most people don't have those kinds of requirements, so it'd take even less time.

@ahamiltonct I like to check certain couponing websites.

@ahamiltonct Thanks for this! I am SO bad about budgeting and figuring out our finances has been on my to do list for ages

@jwilliamsoncw Cool app! I've got to try that.

I cook more often, waste less time and money, we even eat out less often since the pantry is always stocked and cooking is so much less of a hassle.

@mperkinscy Great for making the most of random ingredients that are lurking!

Recently I started using mealime.com who is in the process of developing an app.

I collected recipes for ages in Evernote, but when it was time to actually use any of them, it wasn't very easy to make a shopping list out of them.

@rfieldsd4 Great ideas. We are trying to stick to a meal plan as we waste so much!

@rfieldsd4 plus when you're at the store, you can tap on your phone to refer to the recipe in case you need to remember any details.

@ckelleyd6 Couldn't agree with you more.

@f we could see our purchase history, then we could start to minimize waste of spoiled foods and waste of gas as we must return to the store for one forgotten item

I work with someone who is an expert in data analysis and used to work for a grocery store giant. They have all our buying data

@llawrenced9 I already do a lot of these things and it makes food shopping so much easier and less expensive!

@llawrenced9 I felt like the tips were a bit too general like make a list and stick to it
