Cooling pillow

Cooling

Tired of flipping your pillow whenever it gets warm? Heat controlled pillows can fix that. This pillow will make sure its surface is always cold. The technique for choosing a pillow is very expensive and can cause added stress and tension to your neck and upper back. The major downside is that cooling pillows cost a lot. Good memory foam pillows already run you about $100-120, but a cooling pillow adds another $30 on top of that. But if you are in luck you might find yourself just as well off with the cheaper stuff.

pthe viscosoft pillow is working out well. Been using for a month now and the cooling gel layer is very effective. In addition to the included Coolmax enclosure, I put my own allergy zipper case and then a regular thin flannel pillow case--still stays refreshingly cool!

Arctiv pillow definitely stays cool, however it is to hard to my liking. It doesn't really allow your head to fully relax. If you like a harder pillow and want to stay co

I'm not very satisfied with Arctiv. It does keep my head cool which previous memory foam pillows have not.

Aireloom Nibus. It?s utterly perfect....Not too tall, not too shallow. Stays cool, always retains shape...Simply amazing.

@pfox77 Hands down anything from Tempurpedic. I?ve tried lots of different cooling foams, but theirs last the longest. I have severe chronic pain (from EDS-Hypermobility, the contortionist?s disorder) and they really work amazingly

@pfox77 Yep. I used to buy a new pillow four or five times a year. Then I got MyPillow three years ago. Haven?t bought a new one since

@jsims78 ?On my back, I sleep on the concave side; on my side, I sleep on the flat side so my shoulder tucks into the nook on the concave side. Best pillow I have ever slept on.

@ajames79 I?m sold on the My Pillow washability

@pfox77 I can?t sleep with something around my neck either. I?m interested in the J-Pillow.

Kinja alerted me to a discount on the Sleep Innovations Queen Size Reversible Gel Memory Foam Pillow in 2013. I bought it and I still love it. I sometimes take it with me when I travel.

Yes, I am a victim of too many ?best? versions of the travel pillow myself. No more, no way.?

Tempur-Pedic is amazing. I have two of their super-basic pillow-shaped pillows, one firmer and one softer for varying needs at different times. I love them, and they really help prevent neck and shoulder pain from sleeping weird.

@fgomez7h Agreed! I have the TEMPU-Cloud Soft and Lofty and I love it.

@fgomez7h these are like $15 for a two pack at Costco, but available everywhere. After a few weeks they start to break in a bit, and are incredibly fluffy, cool and form-fitting. Can?t recommend enough.

@vjones7j they allow for a comfortable sleep. I also think they are cooler than a normal pillow in hot weather.?

@vjones7j I've recently found a little positive self-talk helps improve anxiety around sleep and, from there, sleep quality. I have a tendency to stress out about not getting enough sleep. So, lately, I've been soothing myself with, No matter the time, I'

@ppalmer7o I just put ice in a bag and put it in my pillow case on hot nights

@irobinson7q what's wrong with being a cheapskate? also, it's not called cheapskate, it's called being smart and broke at the same time?
