@vwardbc If you try to read the scale while still holding it then the amount will change up or down and you will not get an accurate reading. By setting it on the table it stabilizes it and you will not get any up down change form one second to the next.

@pperkinsbf I use grams for scaling and the very good thing about this great product is that you even get the reading of a fraction of a gram!

@tduncanbh I have found that the measuring scoops or cups that come with a lot of these protein powders and supplements are terribly inaccurate... by a lot.
