The Last Pen You'll Ever Need to Buy. A pen that can copy the color of any object and writes ink with the same color. It's more for people who do a lot of idea sketching or longhand writing to be able to do something to more easily bridge the analog/digital gap.You can change colors by tapping on the pen while writing/drawing. Plus, you can save more money, no more buying different colored pens and loading them in your case, but... I could also see myself writing all over my phone accidentally in no time.

You should do the 3 marker challenge with cameleon pens! :)?

  • Reply

@cvasquez1d or the one marker challenge, because you get a lot of shades from only one marker?

  • Reply

@cvasquez1d Yessssssss?

  • Reply

@hwoods1f I saw this the packaging is really cute!

i can create everything i want..?

  • Reply

@ebailey1h No way can you make a pair of scissors out of plastic and actually cut paper with it?

  • Reply

@ebailey1h Why bother? much easier (and cheaper) to buy a pair of scissors in the first place... Have Technology, now what can we do with it? :-/?

one day these pens will be the same price as a normal pen now?

  • Reply

please tell me where to buy this??

@awelch1l I need to complete my project at school!!!?

  • Reply

@awelch1l Do we get these inventions ?especially in europe?

  • Reply

@hburton1n Everything is the same! It is just the name and the size of the pen?

I?m still struggling with how this would be much better than just snapping a photo of the page and having a OCR process text. I have a livescribe pen and the audio sync is pretty much the killer feature there

  • Reply

@mmason1p ?I stopped using the livescribe because most of my meetings started taking place over the phone and I wasn?t always able to put the call on speaker.?

  • Reply

@mmason1p My approach would be to put an accelerometer in the pen

  • Reply

@mmason1p ?The software would render the notes digitally and turn words into text that could later be edited, change colors, bold, etc.?

  • Reply

@pthompson1s Oh, and if instead of building a pen, you built something that goes around any pen you could use it around a dry erase marker too.?

I do find it interesting that this does feel like a technology that was guided and, possibly, limited by the requirement that it still needs to sell notebooks.

  • Reply

@jfernandez1u Like the tech people came up with a pen that would work on anything and were told to go back and make it less advanced.

  • Reply

@jfernandez1u I used to use the Echo smartpen. Different tech, same idea, sharing, digitizing, and it recorded audio indexed to the timing of your writing

  • Reply

@jcarr1w It seemed like a great idea but I found I just never went back to the content.

  • Reply

@jcarr1w It appeals to the laziness in me...?record everything I hear and write during this meeting for later reference?

whats the cheapest price i can get?

This would be amazing for cosplay?

@jadams20 I've owned these markers for a year now. They're fun to use. :D?

  • Reply

@jadams20 How much? Is it blendable or alcohol based??

  • Reply

@bcoleman22 It's blendable and yes, they sre alcohol based?

  • Reply

It's a cool idea but I guess these would be better for crafting or maybe for use in like adult coloring books. I think they'd be PERFECT for that application.. not for fine art practices.?

  • Reply

@ppeters24 I guess that the more you use these pens you'll learn how to do it in a more effective way :3 I think these would be great for coloring book yes!?

  • Reply

@ppeters24 They look cool, I might buy them!?

  • Reply

@ppeters24 this is lovely. my art is mainly matalec penciles, watercolours, ink, and pastel. I would like to try markers ^-^?

  • Reply

@jolson27 how much does that costed you????

  • Reply

@jolson27 Markers are great as they are quick to use and you don't have to set it all up like water colours but it gives a similar effect X I just started using markers and they are great fun to use I recommended trying them out X you can use them with pe
