Measuring app

Transform your phone in to your smartest tool. Imagine being able to figure out how much volume that cup holds simply by taking a photo and making a few gestures with your fingers. The app lets you annotate dimensions, angles and areas in your images with ease. Simply take a photo and annotate it with the dimensions on your phone or pad. What is special about ImageMeter is that it enables you to measure within the image long after you took the picture. Additionally, with this feature, you can also easily add dimensions for places which are too difficult to reach.

@jwagner9q Wow, I have just discovered this app, and installed it on my android device.

@ncarter9s I am very impressed, it has saved me valuable time estimating materials.

@ncarter9s It works equally well, with a traditional tape measure or the laser distance tool.

The beauty of this tool, is that once we accurately placed the reference grid on the image, we only needed to measure and enter two dimensions.

@ewoods9v We mainly use this for estimating, and double check all critical dimensions.

@ematthewsa7 this is not one of those irritating word problems from high school math class where you need scratch paper to work out a series of equations before learning the answer

Most current generation smartphones can only take static, two-dimensional images. But a 3D mapping camera can record the entire shape of an object or scene. T

@cpaynea9 The real usefulness is in measuring a room.

@rfernandezao you?ll first need to capture every angle using a 3D mapping-capable camera

? @rfernandezao 5 millimeters of complete accuracy

@darmstrongaq The goal is to eventually be accurate within 2 millimeters.
