Non-stick keyboard cover

Non-stick

Keyboards get dirty, worn down, and spilled on. A keyboard cover is a good way to keep your laptop protected. Almost every keyboard's keys leave enough of a gap to catch crumbs and dust - never mind the alcohol, cola, or coffee. It's a huge pain when a key gets schmutz lodged underneath. After much research and testing, companies are now coming out with a non-stick keyboard cover, this is the best way to ensure that your keyboard is free from dust and dirt--you can also keep your laptop in tip-top shape if you decide to sell it.

@cwatson8c A new?laptop?with case and?keyboard protector?in PiNK after five years!

@jpierce8d Can the keyboard be used in the dark while using this ... I mean does the light pass through the keyboard guard to make the keys visible in dark ??

  • Reply

@cwatson8c Yes, It does. It should just have a tint of the color of the cover.?

  • Reply

@sbailey8e I can tell there is a cover on the keyboard - slightly lighter in color of the keys, and it is *slightly* less responsive.?

I have been using this cover for the past week and I forget it's even on there.

@swood8h ?As I suspected would happen, the grain is wearing off and it's distorting?

  • Reply

@swood8h This keyboard cover is the best one I've found yet.

@rmontgomery8j All in all it's a good product, it makes you feel weird in the beginning when you type but you have to get used to it-?

Durability is also important.

@mcole8l ?while the back stays snug with the keys, the typing surface doesn?t stick to your fingers

  • Reply

@mcole8l The result is a smooth surface that stays put and is subtle enough to use everyday without making you want to toss it in favor of the natural keys.

@amorales8n If you listen to sound from your laptop speakers, instead of headphones or a wireless speaker, this cover, like all others, may slightly muffle the sound.

  • Reply

@amorales8n None of these issues are dealbreakers?if you want the benefits of a keyboard cover, a good one will give you them without ruining the typing experience.

These covers will protect your keyboard, but all of them make the keys a pain to depress, so much so that I tossed them after a day of use.?

  • Reply

@lrice8q We tried a few, but we weren?t impressed and found that we?d likely throw them out instead of use them continuously.

  • Reply

@lrice8q our fingers couldn?t move freely across the keys because of the drag

  • Reply

@lrice8q Wouldn't it prevent air from going out so affect ventilation?

  • Reply

@chart8t ?It can get a bit chalky in appearance

  • Reply

This is just what I wanted!

  • Reply

@clawrence8v Me too! It will protect my keyboard against liquid and any residue

  • Reply

@clawrence8v I love the look of this keyboard cover and feels great, but it is too long for the keyboard so doesn't fit properly.

  • Reply

@clawrence8v When you type it feels different, and quite strange; but I have to get used to it. The backlights shine through the cover, so no worries about that.

  • Reply

@ljackson8x ?I ordered a clear case, and I got a clear case with orange square outlines included for free (which I love)

  • Reply

@ljackson8x ?it makes you feel weird in the beginning when you type but you have to get used to it- but for the price of one you get two free keyboard covers, and the keyboard covers protect your laptop from potential water damage or fading keys

Hate the damn silicone covers. Any pet owner will as they are freaking hair magnets.

Great Work.

@mhanson95 But where do people go who own laptops other than a mac. Dell and Lenovo users specifically. Thanks.

Don't mac laptops disperse some internal heat through the space around the keys? I've always heard that using a keyboard cover could cause a computer to overheat

  • Reply

@dbishop97 The Keyboard is not a path for airflow on Macs

  • Reply

@dbishop97 There is radiant heat that goes through the keyboard. But this doesn't significantly cool the MacBook.

Sony actually makes their own keyboard covers for Vaios, so that is an option for PCs.

I'm curious to hear if they offer any protective padding for the finger nails? My left ring finger has major nail damage perhaps from too much cmd+z's. Can't find a cure for this, except for going off the grid completely.
