Ebay for shipping companies

Ebay

Shipping companies bid for shipping your products. Link to online websites to move products anywhere at a cheaper price for the buyers. It's unlikely to appeal to people needing to send tens or thousands of items each week, as it could become a time-consuming process. But when you need to deliver a new pc gaming monitor, an elliptical bike, a new macbook, or need a motorbike taking to Rome (all deliveries genuinely completed through AnyVan), then I believe this can -- and should -- become your first consideration, and a very green one at that.

FedEx was a little cheaper at just under $12 with four-day standard ground shipping. And we got the package on Friday.

@jolson27 USPS was the least expensive and the fastest in this instance. It cost less than $9 for priority mail three-day delivery and arrived on Thursday

@jolson27 Ship early. I mean you never know with the weather. I've sat here on Christmas Eve for hours answering phone calls 'where's my package,

@gburke28 Monday from Fresno it cost us just under $16 through regular UPS ground shipping. We spent $16.31 using FedEx four-day standard ground shipping. And finally $10.55 through USPS.

Royal Mail is to the United Kingdom what the USPS is to the United States: a state-owned postal service responsible for universal mail collection.

@eburns2b We chose USPS because they have by far the best rates, free pick up and packaging on Priority Express mail and a good range of urgent and non-urgent delivery options.

@eburns2b I choose nothing

@swright2e To save yourself time, print shipping labels from home

Don't ship anything in a liquor or beer box. Many places don't let you ship alcohol so your package could be held up being inspected. Boxes with any writing on it can confuse the process, so a plain brown box is your best bet.

@lwhite2g Insure gifts; insurance for postal delivery is just $2.30 and will make sure you and the person getting the gift aren't disappointed.

@lwhite2g I've tried Packing Service Inc. 8887225774 Info@PackingServiceInc.com www.packingserviceinc.com they not so bad; actually they are a great company for custom Crate and Palletizing.

@rgarrett2i For really expensive gifts, use UPS, FedEx, DHL or express delivery at the post office. That way, it's easier to track the item. Plus it will get there faster, so there's less chance it will get lost or damaged on the way.

Ups is on the roll. I think local couriers are on their way to be known as delivery companies in the coming years.

It?s a complex, labor-intensive process, but from the customer?s point of view, all it demands is a few taps on a smartphone.

The traditional annoyances of shipping, from rustling up a suitable box to surviving the line at the post office, should be eliminated.

@rbowman2t The experience was very pleasant and a great deal. If anyone needs something shipped I've got a guy for you to get a quote from. He usually makes runs to ATL, NY, NC, Chicago weekly.?
